Professor Amrita Madan is a multidisciplinary design practitioner and architect (since 1997), educator, researcher, design thinker and academic leader, having a Master’s in Landscape Planning (2001) and an M.Phil. (Urban Theories) (2002), from France. She has submitted her Ph.D. thesis titled “The architect in a rapidly transforming world: Evolving a systemic relationship between practice and education” at the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi.
Prof Madan has taught Architecture and Design since 2002, conducting undergraduate and postgraduate studios in India and France. She has held several leadership positions at various institutions, including serving as Campus Director and Professor at UIDNCR, and Design Track Director and Associate Dean at SSAA.
In her 20-year practice at Atelier Anonyme Design, a multidisciplinary design firm, Amrita has worked as creator, thinker, designer, conduit, and ‘wrangler of space’ for a variety of experiential design projects.
