Dr Kawal Deep Kour, Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Guwahati is a Narcotics research Scientist and a former civil servant. Former Member of Board of the International Society for the Study of Drug Policy, UK, she is currently the Director of the South Asian Drugs and Addictions Research Council in New Delhi, an interdisciplinary research organisation focused on drug policy, addiction, drug policy and cybersecurity research. Recently, she was nominated to the Network of Experts of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organised Crime, Geneva.
With three published books on opium and numerous articles and ongoing research work on drug policy, drugs in cyberspace, Dr. Kour is a prominent figure in her field, committed to advancing research on policy development and substance-related issues.
